تدور أحداث الفيلم في بداية أسرة "مينغ"، حيث عانى البلاط الملكي من الفساد، بسبب حكم الطغاة على الأرض. حاول آل "مانشو" الاستيلاء على الإمبراطورية الضعيفة، واندلعت الحرب. حاربت الساحرة "جاد راكشا" الجنود الذين يضطهدون الشعب من أجل مصالحهم الخاصة، من أجل حماية الضحايا الذين يعانون. ولذلك، قرر مسئولي الحكومة المحلية بتثبيت تهمة قتل الحاكم "جيو جونجلن" على "جاد"، حيث ألقوا عليها وعلى أفراد مذهبها جريمة لم يرتكبوها
In the twilight of the Ming Dynasty, the Imperial court is plagued by corruption as tyrants rule over the land. With the Manchurians preying on a weakened empire, war is imminent.
